On Wednesday August 13, 2014 shortly after 7 p.m. three males were in the rear of a residence on Wavell Street shooting pellet guns.
A neighbor approached the males and asked them to move elsewhere and an argument ensued.
The male then obtained his own pellet gun from his residence and subsequently shot one of the males on the left side of his neck. The victim received medical treatment and the injuries are not life threatening.
As a result, Markus Lutes, 18 years of London, has been charged with one count of aggravated assault, one count of possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace, one count of point firearm and one count of careless use of a firearm.
