(Bancroft, Ontario) – On Saturday the 06th of December 2014, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a domestic incident in the Town of Bancroft. Officers attended a residence where the arrested an adult male that had damaged property at the location.
A 27 year old male of Bancroft, Ontario has been charged with domestic mischief and sexual assault. He has been held pending a bail hearing. His next scheduled court appearance is at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville, Ontario on the 09th of December 2014.
The investigation is a domestic incident and the name of the accused will not be released to protect the identity of the victim.
