(KAPUSKASING, ON) – On April 8, 2015, Kapuskasing Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information of domestic incident that occurred in the town of Kapuskasing. As a result of that police investigation, a 27 year old Kapuskasing male has been charged with the following offences:
Assault as per section 266 of the Criminal Code of Canada (CC)
Criminal Harassment – threatening conduct as per section 264 (2)(d) CC
Assault cause bodily harm – spousal as per section 267(b) CC
Forcible Confinement as per section 279(2) CC (2 counts)
Theft under $5000 as per section 334(b) CC
Fail to comply with Probation Order as per section 733.1(1) CC
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cochrane on April 13, 2015.
