(POWASSAN, ON) – After an extensive investigation, the combined efforts of the North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime unit and the Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP) determined that a Chisholm Twp man had defrauded the program in excess of $180,000
As a result Thomas WHITFIELD 53 years-old, of Chisolm Twp. was arrested and has seen been charged with Fraud over $5000.00 under the Criminal Code of Canada. He will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in North Bay on July 15, 2014 to answer to his charges.
