(KENORA, ON) The Kenora OPP has charged a Kenora man following a report of a male going through boats on the Kenora Harbourfront shortly before 3:00 pm on Monday August 4, 2014. The police investigation led the police to arrest the suspect in the downtown area of Kenora. A brief struggle ensued and the suspect was arrested without incident.
As a result of this investigation, 23 year old Mitchell WICKMAN of Kenora has been charged with Theft Under $5000 (sec 334(b) CC), Resist Peace Officer (sec 129(a) CC) and Fail to Comply with a Probation Order (sec 733.1(1) CC). He has been held in custody for a bail hearing on August 5, 2014.
