Looking Beyond the Plate Leads to Arrest 2013-07-26

(PARRY SOUND, ON)- On July 24, 2013, police were conducting general patrol within the Town of Parry Sound. At approximately 1:18 pm, police observed a silver Dodge Durango traveling at a high rate of speed while traveling eastbound on Seguin Street.

The officer conducted a traffic stop and the male produced a Montana driver’s licence. The officer inquired as to the geographical location of Montana. The response received aroused his suspicion as to the legitimacy of the identification. Through the officer’s investigative skills, the driver held additional identification in various names.

Kerea Alfonso DIVINEY, 44, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged for the following:

Identity Fraud
Possess Forged Document x 3
Drive While Disqualified – CC 259(4)
Possession Schedule II Cannabis Marijuana – CDSA 4(1)
Possession Schedule II Cannabis Hash – CDSA 4(1)

DIVINEY was held at the West Parry Sound OPP Detachment for bail court on July 25th, 2013.
