(SPRINGWATER TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On July 23rd, 2016 at approximately 9:00 p.m., a member of the Huronia West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), was monitoring traffic on Hwy #26 in the area of Glengarry Landing Road and observed a motor vehicle travelling at a speed above the posted speed limit: 139 K/h in a posted 80 K/h zone.
Charged with “Race a Motor Vehicle – Excessive Speed” is Lavdrim LATIFI 22 years old from Toronto. First appearance is September 20th, 2016 in Wasaga Beach Provincial Court.
In addition the defendant’s Drivers’ Licence has been suspended for 7 days and the above motor vehicle impounded for 7 days.
