(LAMBTON SHORES, ON) Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, on marine patrol during the afternoon of June 30, 2014, noticed a Personal Water Craft (PWC) being operated by a young person on Lake Huron adjacent to Ipperwash Beach.
The OPP Marine Unit conducted an investigation that showed the youth operator was not of age and the PWC was not properly equipped. As a result, the owner of the PWC, a 47 year old male from Strathroy-Caradoc Township, ON. was charged with permitting a person under the age of 16 years to operate the PWC.
