Killaloe OPP Weekly Release

During the week of the 7 November 2016, to the 13 November 2016, there were 69 calls for service, including the Whitney Detachment.

There were five motor vehicle collisions, three were animal related.

There were two domestic dispute calls for service during the week of the 7 November 2016, to the 13 November 2016. There were no domestic related incidents involving criminal code charges.

Break and Enter

On the 10 November 2016 at approximately 4:57 p.m., Killaloe OPP Constable Jeff Cole received a break and enter call for service on Fourth Chute Road, Bonnechere Valley Twp. Numerous electronic devices were stolen. The Identification Unit attended to process the scene for evidence. This incident remains under investigation.

Fraud

On the 11 November 2016 at approximately 1:14 p.m., Killaloe OPP received a fraud call for service on Palmer Road, Brudenell, Lyndoch and Raglan Twp. A telephone call was received stating that the homeowner had won a large sum of money. Believing that the call was fraudulent, the homeowner contacted police. The OPP is reminding the community to never give out personal information over the phone.
