$30,000 Drug Bust Near Hanover – Names Released

(BROCKTON, ON) – On November 10, 2016, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, assisted by the Tactics and Rescue Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team, South Bruce OPP, and Hanover Police executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant at a residence on Cardinal Street, in the Municipality of Brockton.

As a result of the execution of the search warrant, Police seized methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, morphine, cocaine, cannabis marihuana, and cannabis resin. The estimated, combined street value of the seized controlled substances is $30,000.00.

Police also seized offence related property that consisted of drug trafficking paraphernalia, cash, 1 prohibited weapon, ammunition, an expandable baton, 2 replica pellet pistols, a stolen motorcycle, and a stolen IPad.

Police arrested and have charged the following Brockton residents with the following offences:

David PIERIK (47 years)

5(2) CDSA Possession of heroin for purposes of trafficking

5(2) CDSA Possession of fentanyl for purposes of trafficking

5(2) CDSA Possession of cocaine for purposes of trafficking

4(1) CDSA Possession of morphine

4(1) CDSA Possession of cannabis resin (liquid).

4(1) CDSA Possession of cannabis marihuana over 30g

4(1) CDSA Possession of cocaine (crack)

7(1) CDSA Production of cannabis resin

91(2) CC Possession of a prohibited weapon (push dagger knife)

145(3) CC fail to comply with recognizance x 6

354(1) (a) Possession of property obtained by crime x 2

Aaron MARSHALL (28 years)

The accused were held in custody pending the results of bail hearings.
