(WELLINGTON NORTH TOWNSHIP, ON) -On January 2, 2014, at approximately 12:12 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a driving complaint from a concerned citizen that was northbound on Highway 6, south of Arthur. The citizen was concerned about the driver of a 2008 Dodge and police located the vehicle on Smith Street in Arthur. The male driver was spoken with and showed signs of alcohol consumption. A Roadside Screening Device test was administered which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Kenneth RACHAR age 41 of Brantford has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 24, 2014 to answer to the charge.
