(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment has charged a 44-year-old male after police investigated a single motorcycle collision at a 1st Concession Road STR, Middleton, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Saturday, June 11, 2016 at approximately 9:39 p.m., police were called to a single motorcycle collision.
Through the course of investigation, it was determined that a Suzuki GSXR 750 motorcycle was travelling eastbound on 1st Concession STR when the driver failed to negotiate a turn in the roadway and lost control entering the ditch, ejecting the driver from the motorcycle.
The driver suffered serious non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment.
As a result of investigation, police have charged 44-year-old Kenneth PRESTON of Norfolk County, Ontario with the following offences:
Careless driving
Owner operate motor vehicle – no insurance
Fail to apply for permit on becoming owner
Drive motor vehicle – no plates
Drive motor vehicle- improper licence
He is to appear in Provincial Court, Simcoe at a later date to answer to the charges.
