On September 1, 2013 at approximately 11:00 p.m., Orillia OPP responded to a possible impaired driver on Highway 11 South in Orillia. On attending officers located and stopped the vehicle on Highway 11 South.
The male driver of the vehicle was arrested for Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle.
During the arrest the male resisted and assaulted officers. Further investigation revealed that the male was in breach of the conditions of his Bail release. Justin SPRING, 21 years old from Innisfil, has been charged with the following offences:
Impaired Operation of a Motor Vehicle
Exceed 80 milligrams Blood Alcohol Content
2 counts of Fail to Comply with Bail Conditions
3 counts of Assault with Intent to Resist Arrest
He was held in custody pending a Bail hearing.
