(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON.) – Members of the Kirkland Lake Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a man with drug offences. The charges stem from a vehicle stop for a traffic violation on Highway 11 in Grenfell Township.
Seized as result of the investigation were Methamphetamine pills, Cannabis Marihuana, Cannabis Resin and money. The estimated street value of the drugs seized is approximately $16,645. The incident occurred at approximately 1:25 a.m. on October 26, 2015.
Charged is Joseph Gilbert AUMONT age 40 of Temiskaming Shores with Possession of Methamphetamine for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of Cannabis Resin and Possession of Cannabis Marihuana.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kirkland Lake on December 10, 2015
