(Madoc Twp, ON) – On December 30, 2015 at 6:55 p.m. members of Central Hastings O.P.P responded to a two vehicle collision in Madoc. A vehicle travelling eastbound on St. Lawrence Street E failed to negotiate a curve in the road and struck a vehicle travelling on Pitts Landing Road.
As a result of the investigation, the driver of the eastbound vehicle 43 year old John BULPIT of Madoc, ON was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Alcohol and Driving With More Than 80mgs of Alcohol in Blood. He received a 90-day Administrative Drivers Licence Suspension and his vehicle was impounded for 7 days. He will appear in Ontario Court of Justice – Belleville on January 21, 2016.
