Joanne SALIBA – Drunk Driving

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP)- On August 29, 2015 at approximately 8:00 p.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were patrolling Wellington Road 124 near Wellington Road 29, Guelph-Eramosa Township. Police stopped a female driver of a 2012 BMW for a traffic violation and detected an odour of alcohol. A Roadside Screening Device test was conducted which resulted in a fail. The driver was transported to a local OPP Operation Centre for further testing.

The driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days and the vehicle impounded for a period of seven days as per statute.

57-year-old Joanne SALIBA of Guelph-Eramosa Township has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. She is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 11, 2015 to answer to the charge.
