Jason GARNETT – Drunk Driving

(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On June 28, 2014 at approximately 7:38 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Traffic Management Unit (TMU) were conducting R.I.D.E. spot checks on Conservation Road east of Victoria Road in Guelph-Eramosa Township.

At this time and location officers investigated the driver of a 2009 Honda Civic that entered into the check point. Upon speaking with the driver, police discovered that he had been drinking. He was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.

The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle impounded for seven days.

Jason GARNETT aged 29 of Scarborough has been charged with Over 80 MGS contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on August 5, 2014 to answer to the charge.
