(Prince Edward County, ON) On July 20, 2014 at 1:34am officers from the Ontario Provincial Police Prince Edward County detachment were called to a single motor vehicle collision rollover on County Road 18. The driver appeared to have been consuming alcohol.
23-year old male, Jared ELLIS of Prince Edward County is charged with:
Operating While Impaired, contrary to Section 253(1)(a) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Operation With Over 80mgs Of Alcohol, contrary to Section 253(1)(b) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused was later released from police custody on a promise to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Picton on August 13, 2014. The driver was not injured.
