(BRACEBRIDGE, ON) – Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers responded to a complaint from a concerned motorist about the driving behaviour of another motorist on Highway 11 south in Bracebridge at 12:30 a.m. on October 23, 2016. Police located the vehicle exiting onto Taylor road in Bracebridge and conducted a traffic stop nearby.
As a result of the investigation, 31 year-old James SHAW of Huntsville, ON was arrested and charged with Driving While his Ability was Impaired by Alcohol CC 253(1)(a) and Over 80 CC 253(1)(b). The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Bracebridge on November 22, 2016 and received an immediate 90 day driver’s licence suspension and further had his vehicle towed and impounded.
