One Airlifted To Hospital After Hwy 11 Collision

(GRAVENHURST, ON) – Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers, along with the assistance of the OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) unit, are investigating a single vehicle motor vehicle collision that occurred just before midnight on October 22, 2016 on Highway 11 south in Gravenhurst that left one man in serious condition.

The involved vehicle was travelling south on Highway 11 when it left the roadway, rolled and the male driver was ejected. Both occupants were transported to hospital and ultimately the 48 year-old driver was airlifted to a Toronto hospital in serious condition.

Highway 11 South in that area has been closed for the investigation and traffic has been redirected along Sparrow Lake Route D.
