Jakeb CARTMAN – Drunk Driving

On Friday March 14 at approximately 1:25am Renfrew OPP officers responded to a report of an erratic driver on Highway 132. The driver was passing unsafely and failed to stop at a red light. Officers obtained a description of the vehicle and located the vehicle a short time later. The male driver was spoken to and field sobriety tests were conducted at the scene. After failing those tests and following breath tests at the detachment Jakeb CARTMAN 18 of Renfrew was charged with driving over 80mgs. He was released on a promise to appear in court in Renfrew on April 30. He was also issued tickets for the offences of being a novice driver having a BAC above 0, and failing to stop at a red light.
