Investigators Request Public’s Assistance in Identifying Suspect in Fail to Remain Pedestrian Collision

Mississauga – Investigators from the 12 Division Criminal Investigation Bureau are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a vehicle and suspect involved in a pedestrian fail to remain collision in Mississauga.

On Thursday, July 28, 2016 at approximately 1:30 p.m., a collision involving a vehicle and two pedestrian victims occurred at Explorer Drive and Skymark Avenue in Mississauga. The vehicle then fled the scene, and was last seen heading westbound on Eglinton Avenue from Explorer Drive.

The two victims, a 62 year-old male and a 25 year old male, were transported to local hospital where they were treated for serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in locating the suspect and vehicle which fled the scene of the collision. The vehicle, which is on file as stolen, is described as a silver 2012 Mercedes E Class, 4 door, bearing Ontario marker ARDV192, with a broken windshield. The driver is described as male, Hispanic, with dark hair in a ponytail, wearing a blue t-shirt and blue jeans.

Investigators are advising if you see this vehicle NOT to approach it but contact police immediately.
