Police were called to attend the Emergency Care clinic on Huronia Road with regards to a male that was brought in with severe head trauma. Police learned that the 42 year old Barrie male had been on a worksite in the south end and fallen from a ladder. Other workers rushed him to the clinic.
After being taken to hospital, he was transferred to a Toronto Trauma Centre for surgery. The male is currently listed in critical condition.
Police and the Ministry of Labour are investigating the incident.
