The Chatham-Kent police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the body found this morning near the Courthouse in Chatham.
Just before 8:30 a.m. police discovered the body of a deceased man. A Coroner, detectives and forensic investigators attended the scene. The body was removed and taken to University Hospital in London for a post-mortem examination. At this time, foul play is not suspected.
Police have confirmed that the found body is that of missing person David Gordon Round, 29 years of Chatham. The family requests that their privacy be respected during this difficult time.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service would like to offer their deepest sympathy to the Round family and thank the public in all their efforts over the past couple weeks to help find David.
