On Sunday July 27 at 8:22pm officers were dispatched to a single vehicle crash in Arnprior. The officers attended Daniel St near Robert St and discovered a vehicle had left the roadway and struck a tree near a residence. The male driver had been drinking and was arrested for impaired driving. Following breath tests at the detachment Jack SPEEK 60, of Arnprior was charged with impaired driving and driving over 80mgs. He was released on a promise to appear in court in Renfrew on July 23. Provincial Constable Tamara Dube investigated.
On Monday June 28 at 9:49pm Provincial Constable George Mikhael was patrolling on Calabogie Rd in Greater Madawaska Township when he stopped a vehicle for a traffic offence. The male driver had been drinking and was arrested for impaired driving. Following breath tests at the detachment, Richard RUMP 44 of Mississippi Mills was charged with impaired driving and driving over 80mgs. He was released on a promise to appear in court in Renfrew on July 9.
On Wednesday July 2 at 11:35pm officers were dispatched to a vehicle in the ditch on Highway 132 in Admaston/Bromley Township. The driver had fled the scene and was located a short distance away. He was arrested for impaired driving. Following breath tests Daniel KELLY 57 of Greater Madawaska Township was charged with impaired driving and driving over 80mgs. He was released on a promise to appear in court in Renfrew on August 27. Provincial Constable Bernie Dikih investigated.
