(Madoc, ON) – On January 25, 2013 at 5:40 p.m. Central Hastings O.P.P attended a two vehicle collision on Seymour Street near Durham Street in the Village of Madoc after an eastbound pickup truck struck a westbound sports utility vehicle. The investigation revealed the male driver of the pickup truck had been consuming alcohol.
As a result 34 year old Jeffrey GORDON of Tweed, ON was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired and Driving With More Than 80mgs of Alcohol in Blood. GORDON was transported to hospital with minor injuries. He will appear in Ontario Court of Justice, Belleville in mid-February.
