(WASAGA BEACH, ON.) – Two members of the Huronia West Detachment Mountain Bike Unit of the Ontario Provincial Police where on patrol in the area of Beach Drive and Mosley Street during several hours on Saturday, June 28th and again on Monday, June 30th, 2014. During this time this unit issues 5 Provincial Offence Notices (PON) under the Liquor Licence Act of Ontario and 5 PONs under the Highway Traffic Act of Ontario.
In addition this Unit conducted an R.I.D.E check on Main Street on Monday where they stopped and checked 200 motor vehicles and then members also responded to a serious assault at Riverbend Plaza.
