(DESERONTO, ON)- On February 28th, 2014 at 11:04 a.m. officers with the Napanee detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a break and enter to a residence on Dundas Street in Deseronto.
Two men inside the residence were assaulted with a weapon by a male who forced his way inside. The male took property and fled on foot. He was last seen heading south on Mill Street.
The suspect is described as a white male, 35-40 years of age, with bleached blonde hair, stalky build, and was wearing a red jacket.
One victim was transported to hospital where he was treated and released.
An OPP Canine Unit, assisted by members of the Emergency Response Team, conducted a track of the suspect but were unable to locate him.
