(EAR FALLS, ON) – On February 27, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. the Ear Falls Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were notified of a collision involving a motorized snow vehicle approximately three kilometres north of Ear Falls on the hydro line trail.
Investigation determined that a group of three snowmobilers were travelling south on the hydro line trail when one of the operators came into contact with a hydro line guide wire. Northwest Emergency Medical Services attended the scene and located a deceased male who has been identified as Robert BOUCHA, age 43 of Ear Falls Ontario.
Members from the Ear Falls OPP with the assistance of a Technical Traffic Collision Investigator (TTCI) are continuing their investigation.
