Home Invasion In Tottenham

(New Tecumseth Township, ON) On the 8th of November 2014, at approximately 9:30 p.m. members of the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to an intruder within a home in north-west Tottenham. Further investigation revealed that a lone male entered the residence and was confronted by the female homeowner. A brief physical confrontation ensued and the female homeowner sustained minor injuries. The male suspect fled the scene on the foot, with a small sum of stolen money from the residence. The OPP Emergency Response Unit and K-9 Unit were immediately deployed; however the suspect was not apprehended.

The male suspect is described to be;

Caucasion, 20’s to 30’s, skinny build, clean shaven, wearing a charcoal grey hoodie with black baseball cap, and black jeans.

The Nottawasaga OPP Crime Unit is conducting an ongoing investigation however police are asking the public to lock the doors to your residence, and vehicles.
