(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment is investigating a fail to remain collision at a Cedar Drive, Turkey Point, Norfolk County address.
On Saturday, July 25, 2015 at approximately 8:18 p.m., police were called to investigate a single motor vehicle collision after a vehicle left the roadway striking a road sign and entering the front lawn of a residence damaging the gardens and landscaping.
Through investigation, it was determined that a 1970’s dark coloured Corvette with a male driver and female passenger turned north bound onto Turkey Point Road from Cedar Drive when the driver of the vehicle lost control. The vehicle struck a road sign and then entered the front lawn of a residence causing damage to the property. The vehicle then fled from the scene in an unknown direction.
The vehicle did sustain damage and speed is being considered a factor in this collision.
