On January 19, 2015 at 1:40 p.m., the Guelph Police began investigating a hit and run collision. It is alleged that at approximately 1:30 p.m., a man was driving his black Ford Edge west on Kortright Road from Scottsdale Drive when he was rear ended by a blue Hummer. The Hummer drove away, last seen northbound on the Hanlon Expressway.
The vehicle and driver have been located thanks to a tip from the public. An 18-year-old Guelph male has been charged with careless driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
