On Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11:57 p.m., emergency services were called to 91 High Street in relation to a stabbing.
Upon arrival, a 22-year-old man was located in the hallway. He had sustained multiple stab wounds to the abdominal area. The victim was transported to the hospital and is currently listed in serious condition.
A short time later, a 21-year-old London man was arrested nearby without incident. He remains in custody while members of the Major Crime Section continue to investigate. Charges are pending and there are no other suspects outstanding.
Circumstances leading up to the incident, including whether the victim and suspect are known to each other, are still being investigated.
