On January 20, 2015 at 10:09 a.m., the Guelph Police went to a residence on Silvercreek Parkway North to investigate a break and enter. The culprit(s) had entered the home by forcing a side door. Significant damage was caused as walls were damaged to access copper pipes and copper wire which was stolen. A second building on the property and a neighbouring residence were also found to have been entered and damage caused as more copper wire was stolen.
