(ADELAIDE-METCALFE TOWNSHIP, ON) – Police have reopened the intersection of Hickory Drive at Egremont Drive following an investigation into a serious two-vehicle collision.
On March 16, 2014 at approximately 12:18 pm Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Middlesex-London Emergency Medical Services and Fire crews responded to a serious collision involving a northbound car and an eastbound commercial truck. A female in her twenties who was driving the car sustained life-threatening injuries and has been transported to a local hospital. The male driver of the truck was not injured.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) Team attended the scene to assist with the investigation. Police closed Egremont Drive between Centre Road and Ilderton Road and closed Wood Road at Charlton Drive for southbound traffic and Hickory Drive at Amiens Road for all northbound traffic. All roads have since been reopened.
