(OXFORD COUNTY, ON.) – On September 13, 2015 at approximately 6:18 p.m. Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint of a vehicle travelling westbound on Highway 403 swerving on the roadway. Further complaints received as the vehicle entered onto Highway 401 and then exited at the westbound ONrout Service Centre, east of Foldens Line in Oxford County.
At the ONrout Service Centre, citizens intervened with the vehicle in the drive-thru until police arrived. As a result of investigation, the 31-year-old male driver, Adam DOXTATOR of Stoney Point was charged under the Criminal Code with the following:
Driving While Ability Impaired – motor vehicle (Alcohol)
Care or Control Over 80 milligrams
The male was released on a Promise to Appear at Ontario Court of Justice in Woodstock on October 13, 2015.
