(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Saturday, October 12, 2013 at approximately 1:14 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a minor motor vehicle collision at the McDonald’s restaurant parking lot on Hwy. 6 & 21 in Georgian Bluffs. There were no injuries reported.
The driver of one of the vehicles involved in the collision was found to have been drinking. She was arrested for impaired driving after registering a fail on an approved road side screen device. Subsequent breath tests conducted at the Chatsworth OPP Detachment indicated she had more than double the legal limit of alcohol in her system.
Heidi WATSON, 34, of the Municipality of Meaford, was charged with impaired driving and over 80 milligrams.
She is to appear in court in Owen Sound on Thursday, October 31, 2013.
