(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On July 6, 2014 at approximately 12:59 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a 2005 Ford Explorer that was observed all over the road and travelling at a high rate of speed on Wellington Road 7 near Side Road 5 in Centre Wellington Township.
Police stopped the motor vehicle and upon speaking with the driver determined that she had been drinking. She was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle impounded for seven days.
Heather FISCHER aged 23 of Fergus has been charged with Over 80 MGS contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on July 22, 2014 to answer to the charge.
