(Essa Township, ON)- On Sunday the 28th of December 2014 at 6:20 p.m. emergency personnel were dispatched to a head on motor vehicle collision involving a black Cadillac and a white Dodge pick-up truck on the 5th Line north of the 20th Sideroad in the Township of Essa. There were six occupants between the two vehicles, and all were transported to the hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Officers with the Nottawasaga Ontario Provincial Police attended the scene, and concluded that the collision was a result of icy road conditions. The OPP Central Region Technical Traffic Collision Unit (TTCI) attended the scene to investigate, and following their completion the road was re-opened at 12:30 a.m. on the 29th of December 2014.
