(WELLINGTON NORTH TWP., ON) – On November 6, 2014 at approximately 11:45 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers observed a male party driving an Ebike in the Town of Arthur. Police spoke with the driver of the Ebike and believed him to be under the influence of alcohol. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Operations Centre for testing.
Harold RICHMOND age 58 of Arthur has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80, Drive while Disqualified, and Fail to Comply with Probation contrary to the criminal code as well as Disobey Stop Sign contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on December 19, 2014 to answer to the charges.
