(HALIBURTON, ON) – On July 03, 2014 Uniform Officers and the Criminal Investigations Unit from the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with the assistance of the Emergency Response Team responded to an address on Highway 118 in the Municipality of Dysart et al, Ontario. As a result of the investigation Grant WALLACE age 56 from Dysart et al has been charged with the following:
Attempt Murder
Forcible Confinement
Uttering Threats
Assault
Choking
Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm
Carless use of a Firearm
Pointing a Firearm
The accused was held for a bail hearing in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on July 04, 2014.
