(HODGINS TOWNSHIP, ON) – On September 26, 2014 a R.I.D.E. check was conducted on Highway 532 in Searchmont.
At approximately 9:45 pm a pickup truck travelling southbound was stopped. Open liquor was observed in the vehicle.
As a result of further police investigation Ghislain MORIN, 37 years old, of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario was arrested and charged with Operating a Motor Vehicle with over 80 milligrams of Alcohol contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. The accused was also charged with of Driving a motor vehicle with liquor readily available and Driving a motor vehicle with open liquor contrary to the Liquor Licence Act of Ontario.
The accused was released on a Promise to Appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario on October 27, 2014.
