Garret DOXTATOR – Drunk Driving

(STRATHROY-CARADOC, ON) – On August 19, 2017, at approximately 10:20 p.m., a member of the Oneida Nation of The Thames First Nation Police Service was alerted by a member of the public that a vehicle had been involved in a motor vehicle collision on Muncey Road.

The officer attended the scene to render assistance to the person involved in the collision.

The officer determined that the 22-year-old male driver of the vehicle had consumed alcohol. He was placed under arrest and transported to an Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) detachment for breath tests.

As a result of the police investigation, Garret DOXTATOR, of Oneida Nation of The Thames First Nation, ON, has been charged with Driving While Ability Impaired and Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood, pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CCC).

The accused’s vehicle has been seized for 7 days and his Driver’s Licence has been suspended for 90 days.

The accused was released on a Promise to Appear (PTA) and is scheduled to answer to the charges in a London court on September 25, 2017.
