(PEMBROKE, ON) The Upper Ottawa Valley Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Crime Unit is currently investigating complaints pertaining to fraudulently obtained mortgages through a mortgage broker. As a result of the investigation Lindsay Michelle BLAIR, age 25 of the Township of Whitewater Region, has been charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
Uttering Forged Documents – Four counts
Perjury – One count
Fraud Over $5000 – One count
Police believe that there may be others who have been the victim of similar fraudulent transactions.
