(Douro Dummer Township, ON) – On Thursday October 17 members of the Peterborough County OPP were called to investigate an incident involving a male harassing a real estate agent at an address on County Road 4.
The victim in this incident is a female real estate agent. She advised that on October 17 she had been contacted by a male to come and access his property for market value.
The real estate agent attended the address on County Road 4 in Douro Dummer and met the male suspect, who was later identified as 30 year old Francis McKEIVER of Douro Dummer.
At this time McKEIVER, advised that he was selling off some of his land and wanted the victim to drive him to the area he stated was being sold.
Once the suspect was in the victim’s vehicle he began to make rude and vulgar comments towards her. He only left the victims vehicle when she called for help on her cell phone.
The victim reported the incident to the Peterborough County OPP Crime unit and an investigation was conducted.
As a result of the investigation Francis McKEIVER was arrested and charged with Criminal Harassment.
