(Bancroft, Ontario) – At approximately 11:26 p.m. on Saturday March 08th 2014, officers from the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were called to a residence in the Bancroft area in relation to a domestic complaint.
Investigation revealed that an adult male had been physically assaulted by and adult female at the residence. As a result the female was arrested and taken into police custody.
A 44 year old female of the Town of Bancroft, has been charged with assault. She was released from custody on a promise to appear with conditions and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft, Ontario on the 15th of April 2014.
