Police received a call from a downtown business with regards to a customer that was refused service for being intoxicated. It was reported that the female patron left the premise, got into a vehicle and drove away.
A uniform patrol officer located the vehicle a short distance away and as a result of investigation a 42 year female was arrested for driving with more than 80mgs of alcohol in her blood. She was taken to the station where she provided samples of her breath that were almost 2 times the legal limit. She was charged and released with a future court date.
