Yesterday morning community patrol members attended a Park Street address in Chatham in regards to a 911 hang-up call. Upon arrival officers located two (2) parties involved in a verbal argument. Officers concluded there were no indications of assaults to either party involved. The 35 year old female remained agitated and was arrested for Breach of the Peace. While placing the accused under arrest she attempted to bite an officer. As a result the accused was also charged with Assault a Peace Officer. She has been released by way of a Promise to Appear.
