(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – Members of the County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to attend a vehicle collision on 07 May 2016 at approximately 3:00 p.m.on Highway #54 just west of Painter Road in the County of Brant.
County of Brant OPP attended the scene along with County of Brant Fire and Ambulance service and found that a west bound 2005 Infinity G35X being operated by a 19 year-old Cambridge man had collided with an east bound 2006 Suzuki motor cycle operated by a 49-year-old London women.
The operator of the motorcycle whose name cannot be released pending notification of next of kin was pronounced dead at the scene.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) were deployed to the scene to assist with the investigation.
Highway #54 will remain closed between Painter Road and Old Onondaga Road in the County of Brant for the investigation.
