(CALEDON, ON) – On December 20th, 2014 at 5:52 pm, officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Emergency Services personnel were called to a serious collision involving a car and pedestrian on Highway 9, east of Tecumseth Pines Drive. The investigation revealed that a vehicle struck a pedestrian.
Nastaran GHAZANFARI, 41, from New Tecumseth was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced deceased.
OPP Technical Traffic Collision investigators attended the scene of the motor vehicle collision and Highway 9 has now been re-opened.
